Hi All
this statement:"’It’s a very common area for strandings,’" is so
broad, it practically is without meaning. I must guess this is the
standard ‘party line’ response; a reguritation of words? That is my
thinking.
If it is so commonly understood and accepted, one would think the
journalist might add some dates and figures.
The media is without one thinking individual. I know, gag order and
all of that, but self preservation should kick-in here pretty soon.
BridgetInvestigation called after mass whale deaths
http://www.divemagazine.co.uk/news/article.asp?

The Australian Greens party has called for the Federal Government to
investigate whether a Navy operation triggered the mass stranding of
130 pilot whales off Tasmania. A huge effort is now underway to bury
the carcasses of the whales, which beached themselves in Marion Bay
in the southern Australian state earlier this week.Officials said the stranding was probably caused by the whales
becoming disorientated in ‘confusing coastal waters’. However,
Tasmanian Greens senator Christine Milne has called for the
country’s defence minister Robert Hill to investigate the proximity
of Navy sonar ships when the mass stranding happened.‘It’s well known and quite well established that naval exercises
using mid frequency or low frequency sonar do have a negative impact
on whales, killing them in some cases, and also disrupting their
ability to navigate,’ Milne told Australia’s ABC News. The Australian Navy denied its vessels were in the area at the time
of the strandings. It also said its mine hunters, which were taking
part in an exercise off Tasmania, had now returned to Melbourne.‘From my understanding the whales would have been beached before the
naval vessels were even in the vicinity of Marion Bay,’ said Navy
commander George Sydney.Mark Pharaoh of the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service, said it
was unclear what happened, but believed complex topography of the
area was probably to blame for the incident. He said the large bay
has frequently changing water depths, sandy spits and rocky
outcrops, as well as narrow opening to the ocean.‘It’s a very common area for strandings,’ said Pharaoh. ‘The most
common belief here is that, since these strandings are so regular,
it’s basically difficult country for a whale to navigate in.’Wildlife officials and volunteers saved about 19 of the whales, but
the 110 who died are being buried. Scientists have taken samples
from the carcasses in an attempt to find out why the whales beached. In reply to: Reply To: Sea turtles in Florida – 10/17/2005

AVIAN FLU MAY COME TO AMERICABy Greg Szymanski
Dr. Henry Niman has been dedicating his life as a microbiologist to
tracking the mysterious avian flu outbreaks in almost every corner
of the world for the last two years.Niman, who did his postgraduate work at the University of Southern
California and now lives in Pittsburgh, isn’t in the business of
scaring people with trumped-up biological conspiracy theories. But
he is in the complicated business of trying to figure out how
viruses mutate and how to best protect mankind against a flu
pandemic that could kill millions of people worldwide.Niman says the avian flu, in one of its many mutated forms, is
coming to America, the only questions remaining are when, what
strain and how deadly.Niman says don’t rely on the government for advice, assistance or an
immediate vaccine, since the United States, as well as the rest of
the world, is playing a game of catch-up against the many strains of
H5N1 avian flu."The present pandemic vaccines have proven ineffective in 2004 for
the Vietnam strain, and they are still ineffective for what is being
called the wild bird flu strain and others," said Niman recently in
an extended conversation
from his Pittsburgh home."We’ve known about the seriousness of H5N1 mutations and different
forms of the virus for some time. We’ve had avian flu before, but
this year the situation is extremely critical for a variety of
reasons, including the many different strains detected and the
unusually high mortality rate for some of those strains."MUCH CONTROVERSY
Although there has been much controversy about whether human-to-
human contact has been confirmed in H5N1 cases, Niman said 15 to 20
clusters have been uncovered overseas and human-to-human passage of
the deadly virus has been known since 2004.He said what compounds the problem is the World Health Organization
(WHO) still refuses to acknowledge human-to-human passage of the
Vietnam-type strain even though strong evidence exists such as three
family members in Jakarta who all died from avian flu within a short
period of time.As far as the United States is concerned, Niman says, "If it comes
this year and it’s the wild bird flu strain, it will come from the
north by way of bird migration. If it is the Vietnam strain, it will
come from a person landing here on an airplane, and how and when
that will occur is anybody’s guess."Niman said the avian flu symptoms, which are killing a high
percentage of people overseas, include pneumonia, respiratory
problems, internal bleeding and organ failure.Regarding the spread of the wild bird flu strain, he recently
wrote: "Two wild birds—a duck and a magpie—have been found dead near
Lake Sharonur in the Russian republic of Tannu Tuva—the first such
case among wild birds reported."The wild bird deaths described above may signal more H5N1 wild bird
flu in southern Russia, just north of outbreaks reported in
Mongolia. Mongolia invited WHO to help control the wild bird deaths,
which were H5N1 positive," he said.Asked how he would protect his family against the many H5N1 strains
he tracks on a daily basis, he added:"There really aren’t many alternatives, but I would stock up on
antiviral medication. Besides that, devise a plan to isolate
yourself with enough food and water for an extended period of time."Keep your eyes open, because the bird flu is coming, and I don’t
think the government will be much help," he said.

By The Associated Press Thursday, September 15, 2005LOS ANGELES (AP) — A 3-month-old California condor chick that died last month was killed by West Nile virus, federal environmental officials said Tuesday.
Scientists attempted to retrieve the chick from its nest for a medical examination but it died Aug. 25 before being treated, said Alex Pitts, spokeswoman for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The chick hatched May 19 in the wild in Ventura County.
A necropsy determined the cause of death was a West Nile infection and also secondary fungal pneumonia, Pitts said.
Pitts said California condors in captivity and the wild have been inoculated with a West Nile vaccine. The chick’s parents were vaccinated in June 2003 and again in June 2004.
The Fish and Wildlife Service plans to also give chicks hatched in the wild the vaccine, Pitts said.
"They’re very endangered and the West Nile virus doesn’t help," she said. "It’s another hurdle that people recovering condors have to clear."
Another chick was hatched in the wild this year in California, according to the service. That chick, which was removed from its nest after appearing underdeveloped, underwent surgery to remove human trash it had ingested.
There are 125 condors living in the wild in California, Arizona and Baja California, Mexico. An additional 151 reside at the Los Angeles Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Oregon Zoo and the Peregrine Fund’s World Center for Birds of Prey in Boise, Idaho.

"It’s bizarre. It intrigues us. We will seek some means to

damage to a home in the 2000 block of East Seventh Avenue,
near Broadway and Gilbert roads, as its charge sped to other

http://museum.gov.ns.ca/poison/redtide.htm
RED TIDE:
Not every plant poisoning is caused by a large, terrestrial plant. Several microscopic marine algae are notoriously poisonous to hapless humans who consume them in shellfish.
These Algae are tiny, single-celled plants that, like plants on land, capture and use the sun’s energy to grow. The growth of algae is an essential life process, as it is the first step in transferring solar energy into aquatic food webs. The huge variety of marine algae are typically subject to annual cycles of growth & decay. These organisms thrive and multiply principally during the spring and summer, in response to increased light intensity and favourable levels of salinity & nutrients in ocean water. During the growth period, or bloom, each single algae cell may replicate itself one million times in two to three weeks.During the reproductive riot of the bloom, warm, shallow seawater tends to become discoloured by the sheer concentration of algae seeking the sunlight. This discolouration is a result of the various pigments the plants use to trap sunlight; depending on the species of algae present, the water may reflect pink, violet, orange, yellow, blue, green, brown, or red. Since red is the most common pigment, the phenomenon has come to be called Red Tide.
Most species contributing to algal blooms are harmless, BUT (another big but!) some species are poisonous to animals which feed upon them directly or indirectly. Some of the toxins these species produce are seriously toxic. Often, the algae themselves are unaffected, as are the filter feeders, especially shellfish, for whom micro-algae are the principal diet. However, to carnivores further up the food chain, including humans, these toxins are potentially FATAL.
As in the case of poisonous fungi, scientific knowledge of poisonous algae is incomplete; indeed, new and alarming toxic algae are still coming to light. In Nova Scotia, however, three different algae are known to cause three, distinct, severe to deadly poisonings:
Alexandrium causes Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP)
Dinophysis causes Diarrhetic Shellfish Poisoning (DSP)
Pseudo-nitzschia multiseries causes Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning (ASP)
.
CLICK on the names above for a microscopic view and specific information.POISON LOCATION
THE GUTS AND INTESTINAL TRACT of shellfish and fish which have consumed toxic algae accumulate and store the toxins. As a result, fish, provided they are gutted in the usual manner, are not a threat; nor, ironically, are scallops- a shellfish whose "meats"- the muscles that open and close its shell- are the only parts harvested for food. All other infected shellfish, however- especially mussels, oysters & clams- may cause ASP, PSP, or DSP because they are eaten whole.POISON TYPE
DOMOIC ACID is an amino acid-based toxin which is potentially lethal. Tiny amounts can have deadly results (see below) in humans. Algal blooms can also cause other problems besides toxicity. When an algae bloom dies back in a shallow bay, oxygen-depleting bacteria may thrive on the dead algae and so kill fish and other marine life. Sometimes floating algae cut eelgrass beds off from sunlight, robbing shellfish of habitat. On fish farms, concentrations of algae can simply clog the gills of the fish, causing respiratory failure.TYPICAL POISONING SCENARIO
Almost all incidents involve the accidental ingestion of mussels, clams, oysters or other shellfish affected by toxic algae. Since there is no visual method for determining whether particular shellfish are affected, Canada has been carrying out extensive laboratory monitoring of shellfish toxicity since 1943. As soon as these routine studies detect dangerous concentrations of toxic algae, Fisheries and Oceans Canada posts affected beaches and estuaries with orders closing them to shellfish harvesting.
It is dangerous to ignore these signs, which are commonplace in Nova Scotia during the warmer months. Little wonder that folklore warns us not to eat shellfish in months with no "r" in their names! By the mid-Eighteenth Century, shellfish poisoning was so commonplace as to give rise to the London proverb, "There is no venturing on oysters, Sir, or women of the town"…
SYMPTOMS
Shellfish poisoning, of whatever sort, is UNPLEASANT AND OFTEN LETHAL. The onset of symptoms occurs as soon as the victim’s digestive system starts to work on the infected shellfish. In the case of paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP), the toxin attacks the nervous system and causes paralysis. There is no antidote; death occurs from asphyxiation or respiratory paralysis.
PSP has been known since biblical times; what is thought to be PSP figures in the Book of Exodus, and the Red Sea is thought to have been named for the signs of frequent blooms of algae. Not for nothing did the Judaic Partriarchs proscribe shellfish…The first recorded case in Canada, however, occurred in 1793, during Captain George Vancouver’s expedition to what is now British Columbia, when John Carter, a seaman, died from the effects of eating mussels, presumably infected with toxic algae. An eyewitness account of his death occurs in the June 17 diary entry of the expedition naturalist and surgeon, Archibald Menzies.
Diarretic Shellfish poisoning, as the name suggests, causes extreme gastrointestinal upset; DSP is less dangerous than PSP, but failure to treat the diarrhoea may lead to death from dehydration or other complications.
Domoic acid, which causes amnesic shellfish poisoning, binds to chemical receptors in brain cells and causes their dysfunction. The poisoning begins with stomach upset, rapidly followed by dizziness, disorientation, and memory loss- symptoms which often persist indefinitely. During a 1987 outbreak on PEI, 1% of the reported poisonings resulted in death from brain damage.

Scientists concerned as two more bighorn sheep die from pneumonia
Associated PressPALM DESERT, Calif. – Pneumonia has killed two more Peninsular
bighorn sheep and scientists say they fear an epidemic is brewing
that could wipe out the endangered species.
The sheep, one a yearling, were found Saturday and Monday in the
northern Santa Rosa Mountains, said Jim DeForge, director of the
nonprofit Bighorn Institute.
That makes seven deaths in less than three weeks among a population
of just 705 animals.
"Our big concern is that, with this relatively large number of
deaths due to pneumonia, we’re at the beginning of an epidemic,"
said Walter Boyce, director of the UC Davis Wildlife Health Center.
There are concerns that pneumonia may have killed an entire
generation of sheep.
"We have in the northern Santa Rosas 15 yearling rams and we can’t
find but one or two of them," DeForge said.
It was unclear whether the pneumonia was being spread by an insect
or sheep-to-sheep, Boyce said.
"We have to figure out what the cause is and that will determine
what management options we have," Boyce said.
Boyce said some good news was received Wednesday when a biologist
making an aerial survey of the mountains got signals from about 50
sheep wearing radio collars.
Peninsular bighorn sheep roam the desert mountain slopes, canyons
and washes from the Palm Springs area south into Baja California.
Their lifespan is 12 to 14 years.
The sheep, who numbered around 1,200 in the 1970s declined to about
280 by 1996. They rebounded after they were designated an endangered
species in 1998.In reply to: Reply To: Gulf of mexico dead zone – (pre-katrina) – 08/11/2005

I have personally witnessed this aerosol crime from coast to coast,

I happily will send you further information in CD and DVD format,

operation intended. I do know for absolute certain, this operation
continues to exist, and it is without our consent and with dire
consequences which are evidenced in health anomalies in all living
things.
Please understand, I am not an animal rights activist. In fact, I
have never been considered an activist of any kind. This issue,
however, begs the immediate attention of all people who are

Perhaps "Truth" is too lofty a notion in these governmental post

or they would not be sleeping at night.
WE’ll see what we’ll see. I’ll post whatever comes of the
conversation.
BTW, my next door neighbor returned from their family vacation in
the Huntington Beach CA area; and yep, they were warned of the "Red
Tide" there too. It is posted on the Life Guard Stations.
WE just do everything we can.

Scientists Measure Red Tide OutbreakScientists were trying to measure the size of a red tide outbreak
after about 40 reports of dead ocean life at the bottom of the Gulf
of Mexico off the Southwest Florida coast.Since the beginning of August, the Fish and Wildlife Research
Institute in St. Petersburg has received reports of mass destruction
of sea life in areas ranging from southern Hernando County to
northern Sarasota County. The institute sent scientists on a research cruise last week to
measure the size of the red tide outbreak and the areas of dead
marine life.Their findings may be available by this week.
The dead ocean life, ranging from goliath grouper and sea turtles to
corals, crabs and starfish, were found at 50 feet deep or less.In reply to: Reply To: Fish die-off in Oregon – 08/13/2005

http://tinyurl.com/7elnhThose who act mainly within the framework of non-governmental organizations might feel the difficulty to keep track of that new paradigm which could substitute the old one, within the limits of which we have lived and developed for the last three hundred years. It is enormously difficult to change the situation for the better. We all have confronted the choice of either being swept away by time and nature, or of facing the realities, assessing the present situation in our world, in nature, to our relationships with our fellow human beings, their situations and their needs. All of this forces us to accept the fact that this civilization has already outlived itself, and we all have to think about the difficult transition based on consensus on the main values which could help us to build our future.
The main goal of the Earth Charter, the draft of which we adopted 18 March, 1997, is formation of a new outlook; a new set of values. The discussion on these issues was extremely difficult. We have even debated the desirability of addressing this semi-finished document to the world public, governments, business. Yes, I admit that this document is far from being ideal. It is far from those 10 or 15 Commandments which we all know about and which have played their role for 2000 years. But here is the document which can be considered as an important step toward those famous testaments. The members of the Earth Charter Commission came to the conclusion that we need this intermediate version, a preliminary draft which should be taken from the shuttered world of conferences and round tables to the turbulent world of the world public. Our planet Earth existed billions of years. There was long periods of transitions from one form of life to others, without a human. If we do not change our behavior it might happen again, and this depends on us. In its essence the Earth Charter shifts the focus to people on the Earth, their responsibilities, their morals and spirituality, their way of consumption. To save humankind and all future generations, we must save the Earth.
What is happening to our wildlife is so evil that it could only be the work of the "Evil Empire" aided and abetted by traitors in our own country – "Thinking globally, Acting Locally". Using a social agenda to implement a political agenda.

Hey Bill
I got it in my head to give this reporter a call. Friendly and diplomatic; I just thought he would enjoy a ‘heads-up’ regarding the many other animal death anomalies.
I guess I’m back building up some steam:)
Gosh, I’m so lucky to have you all~thank all powers we have each other.

Divers In Gulf Report `Zero Things’ AliveBy MIKE SALINERO msalinero@…
Published: Aug 11, 2005CLEARWATER – Diver Mike Miller struggles to convey the horror he has
seen on the ocean floor. He struggles because there are only so many
ways you can say dead.
I’m talking zero things are alive out there,” Miller said.
The
only way to describe it is a nuclear bomb.”Miller and other alarmed divers say they have documented a dead zone
20 miles offshore in the Gulf waters from Johns Pass to Clearwater.
This information, combined with an unprecedented number of dead
turtles washing up on Pinellas County beaches this week, has divers,
fishermen and scientists worried that red tide is killing more
efficiently.Normally when we get a red tide, you can go a little north or a
little west or south or someplace else and dive,” said Ben
Dautermen, who takes divers out of Clearwater on his charter boat.
Usually it doesn’t kill every single thing.”
Red tide, an algae toxic to fish and an irritant to humans who
breathe its choking vapors, has hung stubbornly to Florida’s west
coast for close to three months. Miller and other longtime locals who
make their living in the Gulf say it’s the worst outbreak in their
experience.Though it’s not certain that red tide killed the turtles, scientists
at the Fish & Wildlife Research Institute in St. Petersburg think the
toxic algae wiped out sea life, creating the dead zone Miller and
other divers discovered. The scientists’ theory goes like this: Red tide cells don’t like to
pass through water temperature differences of more than 2 degrees.
Scientists think a thermocline, or zone of cold water, formed above
the warmer water at the bottom, holding the algae bloom there longer
than it naturally would stay.So the things that would not normally be affected were exposed for
longer periods,” said Jeremy Lake, spokesman for the institute. The toxic atmosphere worsened as dead organisms such as crabs and
shellfish decomposed, consuming dissolved oxygen in the water.Lake said the institute sent 10 biologists Wednesday for a three-day
cruise to gather information on the dead zone and the status of the
red tide.Since Sunday, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium has picked up 20 dead
sea turtles. Four sick turtles are being given around-the-clock care
at the aquarium. The turtles, too weak to swim, are being kept on wet
mats and covered with wet towels, said Dana Zucker, the aquarium’s
director of community relations. They are hosed down every 30
minutes. Most of the turtles are loggerheads, but there also have been a few
Kemp’s ridleys, one of the most endangered types of turtles, said
Janine Cianciolo, veterinarian and director of animal care at the
aquarium. Cianciolo said the turtles were showing signs of red tide
intoxication, but the cause of death won’t be known until tissue
samples are analyzed.Reporter Mike Salinero can be reached at (813) 259-8303.

hi Bridget…
it does seem that we are in the era of ‘designer diseases’…
i find it quite odd that so many really bizarre diseases
seem to be cropping up all the time.(i’d really love to be a fly on the wall at CDC headquarters
and hear what they really think about all this.
i’m sure what they know and what they tell john q public
are entirely dissimilar.)glad to see that you are involved in getting the word
out… it’s amazing how many people are so clueless about
what’s going on. just out of curiosity.. what do you suppose
the CT’s are about? in this area (boston), the trails are
most noticeable in the early morning hours. maybe they
figure if people are half asleep rushing to work, they won’t
be looking at what’s going on!what a crazy world this is becoming…

(…) "Right now, anywhere we go from shore to 20 miles offshore, from
Sarasota to Tarpon Springs, we can’t find a single creature alive on the
bottom right now," said Miller. Miller says he’s never seen such death and
devastation under water in his 20 years of diving. "All the coral, all the
sponges, all the crabs, not a single living thing, all the star fish, the
brittle stars, everything’s dead," said Miller. CLIPIn reply to: Reply To: Gulf of mexico dead zone – (pre-katrina) – 08/11/2005
October 30, 2013 at 6:56 pm #880MikeKeymasterfrom bridget – 08/12/2005′, ‘Hi Guys
What these people need to do is look at the unpresidented chain of
toxic algae events. This is unheard of, I’ve looked. Well sure they
can cite an isolated event in one location from over 30 years ago,
and that might satisfy many people into thinking "oh, this has
happened before"
Thank all powers in Heaven, we have been keeping tabs on the true
events in a chronology of sorts. I know we probably have missed some
of the documentation, still, what we are doing is very good.

Hi there BillActually, I think it has already appeared here in some form
What makes it difficult to identify, much like CWD in the animal
kingdom, or Fibromyalgia among humans (to name only one of the many
illnesses); is that this type of organism is without cell walls; for
example Mycoplasma, but bioengineered.
It makes it difficult not only to identify in the scientific arena,
also our natural immune system can not find it.
This also allows the organisms to jump species, which is something
we are seeing more and more.
We are talking molecular mimicry of the worst kind.
Well at least we’re talking 🙂 that is a beginning and our lifeline.
I have become supremely suspicious,,, "fool me once, shame on me,
fool me twice shame on you" type of mind set.I ask myself, "How can this operation of Controlling the Weather, or
Weather Modification, continue right over our heads, without our
consent or knowledge, to the tune of billions of dollars and at the
expense of our very future, without so much as a ripple? We are
seeing extremely stringent control in the media, combined with daily
conditioning as to what is "normal".Gosh, I’m going to a 9-11 meet-up, but these folks don’t believe in
chemtrails, go figure.
Anyway, I’ll just check out the mood and hand out some flyers.
I’m glad to be back, sorta.(Post script next a.m.) As it turns out, some of the folks are aware
of CT’s but unaware of the far reaching effect on all living things.
Long story short~I figure we can help each other. When the gov’t has
clay feet, it make little difference from what direction we `chip
away’ to topple the monument of lies.I remain grateful and blessed to have all of us on the same page.

People forget that it is the sea that allows the planet to thrive. If the sea dies, we all die. The sea is where life began.
