In the previous article in this series on chemtrails, we covered a few of the thousands of articles and media reports on the growing awareness of the chemicals being sprayed in the skies all over the world. We presented evidence to show the difference between contrails and chemtrails and the fact that foreign governments are asking for information. In this part of the series we will look at some of the theories and evidence as to why we are being sprayed and who is responsible for doing it.
There are several active theories out there about why government planes are crossing the skies leaving trails of long lasting white chemicals. There are also plenty of documents to support these theories that include, weather modification, weather warfare, global warming mitigation, mind control and chemical and biological testing. The research done on this subject includes many detailed scientific data that are technical in nature and hard for a lay person to understand, so we will do our best to present this as simply as possible. For those who wish to research this subject themselves, we will include a list of websites at the end of the article.
Jeff Ferrell of KSLA News 12 in Louisiana has been covering the chemtrail story. He states, “There’s already no shortage of unclassified weather modification programs by the government. But those who fear chemtrails could be secret biological and chemical testing on the public point to the 1977 US Senate hearings which confirmed 239 populated areas had been contaminated with biological agents between 1949 and 1969. Later, the 1994 Rockefeller Report concluded hundreds of thousands of military personnel were also subjected to secret biological experiments over the last 60 years. It turns out, until just nine years ago the government had the right, under US law, to conduct secret testing on the American public, under specific conditions. Only a public outcry repealed part of that law, with some exceptions.”
Bob Fitrakis and Fritz Chess of Columbus Alive news organization in Columbus, Ohio, have also been investigating chemtrails and report, “A scientist working at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, who insisted on anonymity, told Columbus Alive that two different secret projects have been conducted. One involved cloud creation experiments to lessen the effect of global warming. The other involved radiation reflection off clouds in conjunction with the military’s High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) in Alaska. The scientist claims that the two most common substances being sprayed into chemtrails are aluminum oxide and barium stearate. The goal is to create an artificial sunscreen to reflect solar radiation back into space to alleviate global warming.” Ken Caldeira, a scientist at Lawrence Livermore Labs and one of the country’s leading experts on weather modification, conducted the original computer modeling for the use of aluminum oxide to fight global warming. He told Columbus Alive, “We originally did this study to show that this program (using massive spraying for weather modification) shouldn’t be done due to negative health effects.” The amount of information available on weather modification and defense applications surrounding the HAARP project proves that chemtrails aren’t so secret.
The most valuable cache of data about weather-control efforts is freely available from the US Patent and Trademark Office. One example of this is the patent held by the Hughes Aircraft Company. Patent number 5003186 states, “a method of reducing atmospheric warming due to the greenhouse effect resulting from a layer of gases in the atmosphere which absorb strongly near infrared wavelength radiation, comprising the step of dispersing tiny particles of a material within the gases’ layer…” The US Air Force admitted to CNN in July that it had broken up a storm over the Atlantic using products made by a company called Dyn-O-Mat. The company’s website lists environmental absorbent products. As recently as November 13, another patent was filed outlining a “method of modifying weather. The polymer is dispersed into the cloud and the wind of the storm agitates the mixture causing the polymer to absorb the rain. This reaction forms a gelatinous substance which precipitates to the surface below, thus diminishing the clouds ability to rain.” And yet another patent: Application Number: US1974000490610 that states, “Light scattering pigment powder particles, surface treated to minimize inparticle cohesive forces, are dispensed from a jet mill deagglomerator as separate single particles to produce a powder contrail having maximum visibility or radiation scattering ability for a given weigh material.”
Weather Modification INC is a company with a website that states, “We have been conducting weather operations and research since 1961. WMI manufactures and installs cloud seeding equipment for all purposes. In addition, we can provide complete weather radar services, including interfaces with TITAN full-sky radar data archival software, a complete line of proven and FAA approved seeding equipment, seeding aircraft, and aircraft modifications for these purposes.”
The Department of Energy’s Atmospheric Science Program has as its long-term goal, “developing comprehensive understanding of the atmospheric processes that control the transport, transformation, and fate of energy related trace chemicals and particulate matter. The current focus of the program is aerosol radiative forcing of climate: aerosol formation and evolution and aerosol properties that affect direct and indirect influences on climate and climate change.”
Carol Sterritt of the Coastal Post reported, “An airline manager agreed to talk to civilian investigators about these phenomena. ‘Airline companies have been participating in something called Project Cloverleaf for a few years now. They told us that the government was going to pay our airline, along with others, to release chemicals from commercial aircraft.’ The informant then detailed how the government agents would not answer directly any questions related to what the chemicals were, nor would they explain the actual purpose of this activity.
Perhaps the most compelling evidence that indeed the government is engaged in weather modification, weather warfare and chemtrails are two reports put out by the government itself. The first one is a massive 994 page report titled: Policy Implications of Greenhouse Warming: Mitigation, Adaptation, and the Science Base-Panel on Policy Implications of Greenhouse Warming. Only the government would come up with a name that long. This report was sponsored by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, and the Institute of Medicine. Included within is the hard science many chemtrail researchers have been searching for: the scientists, agencies, institutions and corporations involved, cost factors, chemical formula, delivery methods, policies, recruiting of foreign governments, acquisition of materials, and the manufacturing of aerosol compounds.
The other report was “a study designed to comply with a directive from the chief of staff of the Air Force to examine the concepts, capabilities, and technologies the United States will require to remain the dominant air and space force in the future.” This 52 page report is called, Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025, and was presented in 1996. The following excerpts from the report illustrate that the government is using the weather for warfare. “In 2025, US aerospace forces can “own the weather” by capitalizing on emerging technologies and focusing development of those technologies to war-fighting applications. Such a capability offers the war fighter tools to shape the battle-space in ways never before possible. It provides opportunities to impact operations across the full spectrum of conflict and is pertinent to all possible futures.” “A high-risk, high-reward endeavor, weather-modification offers a dilemma not unlike the splitting of the atom. While some segments of society will always be reluctant to examine controversial issues such as weather-modification, the tremendous military capabilities that could result from this field are ignored at our own peril. From enhancing friendly operations or disrupting those of the enemy via small-scale tailoring of natural weather patterns to complete dominance of global communications and counter-space control, weather-modification offers the war fighter a wide-range of possible options to defeat or coerce an adversary.” “In 1957, the president’s advisory committee on weather control explicitly recognized the military potential of weather modification, warning in their report that it could become a more important weapon than the atom bomb.” “In the broadest sense, weather-modification can be divided into two major categories: suppression and intensification of weather patterns. In extreme cases, it might involve the creation of completely new weather patterns, attenuation or control of severe storms, or even alteration of global climate on a far-reaching and/or long-lasting scale.”
